- Campbell's Dime Store located on northeast section of uptown next to George's Bar. It was the third store from the corner. Above was Roy Bixby's dentist office in the 1940s. Campbell's closed in early 1990s.

- The Methodist Episcopal Church was built in 1837 on the corner of S. Ann Arbor and Henry Street. The house alongside to the north was the parsonage. The frame church was replaced by a brick church in 1900.; The church is now a commercial store called the Calico Cat.

- Dr. Thomas Henderson in office above store on East Michigan Avenue. He sold his practice to Roy Bixby, father of Meredith Bixby. Thomas' son was Maurice Henderson and his daughter was Virginia Henderson Hocking.

- Saline Baptist Church built this building in 1904 with hand hewn masonry blocks. In 1919 the Baptists built a Federated Church with the Presbyterians and sold the building to Alphonse Schmidt.; The building became a mortuary under the ownership of Tom Bridges in the late 1920's.
