- Portrait of Richard A. Fitzgerald by Ankers of Washington, D.C. Fitzgerald was a 1936 graduate of Western State Teachers College and served as an attorney in the air transport field and also as Vice President of National Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Hughes Airwest.

- Notes:
- Walter Marburger, physics professor, working with short wave radio equipment. Marburger was a faculty and chemist in the Physics Department at Western Michigan College of Education from 1925. He was first president of the Faculty Senate from 1958-1959 and founded the VHF Conference for amateur radio operators in 1954. He retired from WMU in 1963 after 38 years of teaching physics and electronics classes. After retirement, he was active in local, state and regional amateur radio operations and operating an amateur radio W8CVQ station from his Kalamazoo home.

- Photograph of soldiers marching in formation on the Athletic Field on East Campus, Michigan College of Education. View is looking west. The Athletic Field was constructed on west side of the Michigan Central Railroad tracks and opened for baseball games in the Spring of 1914. It was later used as training field during World War 2 for the the V-12 program.

- Interior of the Gymnasium lower level featuring the unfilled swimming pool. The 52-foot pool was part of WSN’s expanding Athletics Physical Education program. Completed in 1908, the Gymnasium the first of two additions to the Administration Building.
