- From the left are seen Cunningham Drugs on the street level of the Prudden Building with its entry off West Michigan Avenue, Archy's Lounge, House of Beef, and Hotel Olds on the south side. On the north side are seen the Bank of Lansing, Western Union, Jury-Rowe and the Lansing Police Headquarters. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo and cut off one corner. One of two variants.

- The old federal building and the YMCA, on the north side of East Michigan Avenue leading up to the Capitol, prior to demolition. They were both torn down to make way for the new Lansing City Hall. Part of the Jury-Rowe furniture store can be seen at right. Temporary signs posted in the YMCA window and above the door read "Capital City Wrecking Co." and "The Christman Co. Builders."

Working north from East Ionia Street, the first stores: Parker Paint & Wallpaper at 300, Gibbs Natural Health Foods at 302, Marshall Music at 304, Top Value Redemption Gift Store trading stamps at 306, Baby Grand Bar at 308, vacancy at 310, and the taller Furniture Exchange at 312-14. City Planning Division staff trimmed two photographs to make this composite view. City Planning Division staff placed sequential numbers at the bottom of each piece, "F34" and "F35" and added other annotations.

- An oral history from Thelma E. Sanford, the daughter of Arthur C. Haite, who ran a furniture business and funeral home in Lansing in the early 20th century. Along with her interview, Mrs. Sanford provided several photocopied newspaper clippings and photos. She was interviewed by her daughter Patricia Sanford Brown at her home at Burcham Hills, East Lansing, on August 22, 1990. A transcript for this recording is linked with the audio files below.

- View of the same block as 2015-06-003.V6.075 but taken four year's later. Lansing Broadcasting Co. is still present in a building holding several businesses in addition to their WILS-AM radio station: Verra-Kleen Cleaners, and Baucom Barber; all used 407 as their address. Next, Vandervoort Marine Sales replaced the Dura-Chrome Dinette Co. at 417. Michigan Liquor Control Commission Retail and Wholesale Store remained at 417. A&P grocery completed the block at 425 but had received a new exterior. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo.
