- Color postcard depicting the Cedar Mound on Belle Isle, with people canoeing on the canal in the foreground and people standing along the shore. Printed on verso: Cedar Mount, Waterfall and Canoes, Belle Isle. Belle Isle is in the Detroit River, between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. The Island contains 702 acres and is entirely covered with one of the most beautiful parks in the United States, having some 21 miles of Macadam Roads a magnificent Casino; Pavilions; Boat Houses; Aquarium; Horticultural Hall and Zoological Gardens. The Island was purchased by Detroit in 1879 and has since then expended $1,600,000 in beautifying it. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Oct 19, 1922.

- Color postcard depicting the Detroit approach to the Michigan Central Railway Tunnel, with a truss bridge and buildings in the background. Trains are on the tunnel tracks and alongside. Printed on verso: The Detroit River Tunnel, has the unique distinction of being the only tunnel of its type ever built. It was constructed in sections, all work being done from the surface of the water without the use of compressed air. The Tunnel is operated electronically. Construction was started October 1, 1906, and completed July 1, 1910. The length from portal to portal is 1 3/8 miles, and from summit of grade 2 ½ miles. It was built by the Detroit River Tunnel Company for the M. C. R. R. at a cost of $8,500,000. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 8, 1911.

- Color postcard depicting the Hotel Pontchartrain from the corner of Woodward Avenue and Cadillac Square, with pedestrians, streetcars, and automobiles in front and two American flags flying from the roof. Printed on verso: Hotel Pontchartrain, Detroit, Michigan. The Hotel Pontchartrain. Detroit's largest and best hotel, is beautifully situated on the Campus. It is fifteen stories high with three stories underground. This hotel was opened to the public in October 1907 and is strictly fireproof. It is a marvel of convenience, the underground portion being the most important for the comfort of the guests. Over five million pounds of steel were used in its construction. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jun 9, 1913.

- Color postcard depicting the Skating Pavilion on Belle Isle, with canoes on Lake Takoma in the foreground. Printed on verso: Pavilion, Belle Isle. - Detroit's principal recreation spot is an island in the Detroit river connecting with the city by a bridge, 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boasts over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway. A fine zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The city has expended over $1,500,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jan 6, 1913.
