- One folio series entitled, "Detroit Illustrated," that was published in 14 parts by H. R. Page & Company of Chicago. This folio, Part Eight, has a gray/green paper cover that is printed in brown text. - Two architectural drawings with first entitled "Plans for Eight Stores and Sixteen Apartments Located on the North-West Corner of Michigan and Wesson Aves., Detroit, Michigan" and the second entitled "Wesson Ave. Elevation." The drawings (Job No. 288) consist of red and black ink on linen and show front and rear elevation views of a proposed 3-story retail/apartment building. On the second drawing, the name, "Soldoris," is shown over the apartment entrance doorway on Wesson Avenue. The title block in the lower right corner of the first sheet shows that the drawing (part of a set of nine sheets) was prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. Some green and blue pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details.

- One set of three architectural drawings entitled "Wesson Ave. View of a Four Story, Seven Stores & Thirty-One Apartment Building." The drawings consist of black ink and pencil on vellum paper and show a front elevation view of the proposed building as well as floor plans for each of the four floors. The proposed building was located at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Wesson Avenue. The plans were drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," and are dated 1920.

- One set of architectural "Specifications for Mr. S. P. Lachman for a Remodeling Job to be Done on the North Side of Michigan Avenue Between Junction Ave. and 35th St., Number 1584 Michigan Ave., Detroit, Michigan." The specifications (Job 278, Set No. 1) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes typewritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 70 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.

- Colorized halftone print of a photograph depicting the west side of Campus Martius, as viewed from an elevated position, likely from the Pontchartrain Hotel. The primary copy has bolder colors and is mounted on beige cardstock. The secondary copy has lighter colors, and includes the title, "'The Heart of Detroit' - Reproduced from Photograph," as well as the notation, " Jos. Mack, Printer, Detroit." Both versions include captions below labeling the Post Office, City Hall, Pardridge and Blackwell in the Majestic Building, the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, Merrill Fountain, and the Opera House. A sign reading, "Welcome National Hay Association" is posted on the front of City Hall. The moonlight tower in front of City Hall on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue is visible. Electric streetcars, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians are on the streets below. "1902-1903" handwritten on lower right corner of secondary copy, and "Fine Cigars and Tobacco, Confectionary, Soft Drinks, and School Supplies, Etc., 528 Dix Ave. Detroit, Mich." stamped on its verso.

- One sheet, mounted on paper, from the Michigan Volksblatt from 1903, featuring a halftone print of the "Majestic - Gebaude (Das herz von Detroit.)," or the "Majestic Building (the heart of Detroit.)." The image shows the Majestic Building with a view to the southeast. The building is topped with a drawn on flag reading "Majestic." Many pedestrians can be seen walking along the sidewalks and roads, which include Woodward Avenue to the right and Michigan Avenue to the left. Also visible are trolley cars marked with destinations such as "Trumbull" and "Third." Signs visible on store fronts include "Sparling's" and "Siegel's."
