- Single sided schedule showing days and times for exercises at the University of Michigan's College of Medicine and Surgery. The schedule is divided into sections for freshmen, juniors, and seniors, and courses are held Monday through Saturday from 9:30 to 5. Seniors take theory and practice; obstetrics and gynaecology; diseases of children; surgery; hygiene; pathology; ophthalmology, otology and diseases of upper air passages; minor surgery and bandaging; diseases of the nervous system; practical pathology and bacteriology; and practical hygiene. Juniors are instructed in theory and practice, physiology, surgery, surgical anatomy, operative surgery, organic chemistry, general therapeutics and materia medica, practical anatomy, a chemical laboratory, and practical physiology. The verso lists the lecture rooms for courses, by year.

Contour lines are shown in a light line weight to represent the existing ground elevations and are shown in a heavy line weight for proposed ground elevations. The edge of the Detroit River (contour line "0") is shown along the lower edge of the sheet. Handwritten text beneath the title shows "Engineer Department, Washington, Aug't 20, 1867.
