- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Cross Sections for Detroit Fire Boat," that shows two cross-section views of the hull, deck, and interior piping of the proposed fireboat. The title block in the upper center area shows that the drawing was prepared by "William Cowles, Constructing Engineer and Naval Architect." It was drawn at a scale of 3/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated July 22, 1892. A black ink stamp with handwritten text in the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 57-511-11-1, Tube No. 1."
