- Sepia-toned photograph taken to document the effort to set a new record time for boat construction through the manufacture of Eagle Boat No. 59, within building "B" of the Ford River Rouge Factory Complex, of workers installing the boat's deck fixtures as viewed from off its port bow. Workers atop the boat install the deck fixtures. Scaffolding surrounds the boat's hull. "Vote for wine and beer," has been written on part of the scaffolding beneath the boat's bow. Cables and hoses enter the boat's portholes, suggestive of the work going on inside. "#59, 26377-04-09-19," is printed in the lower right corner of the recto and "8A13, superstructure a-building" is handwritten on the verso. The photo is mounted on a linen backing.
