- Color poster for the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows at the Grand River Avenue Show Grounds, Monday July 17 and Tuesday July 18, 1922. Text at the top of the poster indicates that location and dates of the performances. The center and bottom portions of the poster feature several illustrations of an adult hippopotamus and a newborn hippopotamus. The main illustration depicts the hippopotami with several onlookers. A tiger in a cage can also be seen in the background. Text at the top of the illustration indicates the name of the circus. Text at the bottom of the illustration, set against a yellow background, reads as follows: "Mighty Martha and Tiny Toodles Three Ton Mother Hippopotamus and Her Recently Born Merest Mite of a Baby Greatest Contrast in all Nature Between Adult & Offspring. A Rare Zoological Attraction." Text along the bottom right border of the poster reads "(c) The Strobridge Litho Co. Cincinnati & New York."
