- Color postcard depicting the Amusement Building on Boblo Island with many people standing in front. Printed on verso: Landing at Bois Blanc, Detroit River. One of Detroit's favorite pleasure grounds is at Bois Blanc, an island at the mouth of the river in Canadian waters. The island is owned by the Detroit, Belle Isle and Windsor Ferry Co., comprises 225 acres and is equipped with a casino, dancing pavilion, athletic field and similar conveniences. The fine steamer Columbia covers the run several times daily. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 11, 1908.

- A la carte menu card from the Hotel Pontchartrain, dated Monday, February 13, 1918. The recto lists oysters, hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish, steaks and chops, poultry, specials, vegetables, potatoes, cold meats, salads, and desserts. The verso declares that the hotel is a member of the United States Food Administration, and urges the conservation of food for the war effort. Additionally, a disclaimer on the verso cautions that the management declines responsibility to damage to clothing caused by accidents in the dining room.
