Hudson trade card bearing a color illustration of a cat with a yellow ribbon around its neck laying between a vase of flowers in the foreground, and a pot containing a cherry tomatoes in the background. "Compliments of J.L. Hudson, Clothier, Detroit Opera House Building," is printed along the pot. "Copyright 1883 By E.P. & L. Restein, Phila." is printed in the lower left corner. The card is mounted on a cardstock backing.

- Description:
- Breakfast menu card from the Hotel Pontchartrain, dated January 20, 1918. The recto lists fruit, beverages, cereals, eggs, oysters, fish, specials, steaks and chops, and potatoes. The verso declares that the hotel is a member of the United States Food Administration, and urges the conservation of food for the war effort. Additionally, a disclaimer on the verso cautions that the management declines responsibility to damage to clothing caused by accidents in the dining room.

- Description:
- This white paper envelope contained a 1-page letter that was written by the St. Andrew's Society. The front of the envelope has a handwritten address "To the Hon. Mayor and Members of St. Andrew's Society of Detroit in the year 2001" with the greeting: "A Guid New Year tae ane' an' A' An' mony may ye see, And during a' the years tae' come, O Happy may ye be," The envelope is signed "Com. te, "John Fairgrieve, Pret.; John Donaldson, Ex. Prest.; John Pettie, Ex Prest." The envelope is tied with a one-inch wide red, white, and blue ribbon.

- World War I poster with the messages, "Motherless Fatherless Starving," and "How Much To Save These Little Lives?" The poster shows a color drawing of a Red Cross nurse who is tending to a group of small children. The artist's last name, "Crisp," can be seen near the center left edge of the drawing. A Red Cross is shown at the bottom of the poster along with printed text that shows "War Fund Week, One Hundred Million Dollars, May 20th - 27th." Small printed text in the lower right corner shows "Form N.Y. 20, Second War Fund."

- One blueprint drawing (Sheet 19 of 20) of the "Bi-Autogo" motorcycle. The drawing shows a right side exterior profile view of the vehicle with a man seated behind the driver's wheel. Printed text at the bottom of the drawing shows "Bi-Autogo, Design Patented 1911" and "1, 2, or 3 Passengers; Front Wheel 36", Rear 32"; Note Height of Highest Points - Measurements Given. Note Also, Unusual Spring Suspension on Front Fork - 3/4 Elliptic Springs." The drawing is shown at an approximate scale of 1.625 inches = 1 foot. A note beneath the bar scale near the lower left corner reads "Note - This Tracing Made in France - 10/21/11 - J.S.B. [James Scripps Booth]."

- One blueprint copy of a map entitled "Detroit - Prior to the Fire of June 11, 1805." The map shows the layout of the town and fort as of June, 1805, including the names and locations of property owners at that time as well as lot numbers, lot dimensions, street names, and right-of way widths. The map area extends from Griswold Street on the east, to the Detroit River on the south, to Cass Street on the west, and to Lafayette Avenue on the north. The map also shows the extent of filling which occurred along the shoreline from 1805 up 1889. The title block in the lower left corner indicates that the map was "prepared by C. M. Burton, Wayne County Abstract Office, from Official Records." The drawing was done by "R. J. Mackey, Draughtsman," at a scale of 1 inch = 60 feet and is dated 1889.
