- Color postcard depicting a crowd of people departing the ferry landing on Belle Isle. A sign reads "Take This Side to the Boat". Printed on verso: Belle Isle Bridge, connecting the main land with Belle Isle, Detroit's largest pleasure spot is half a mile in length and spans the Detroit River at a height of 30 feet. It forms the connecting link over which thousands of pleasure seekers on foot, in carriages and automobiles pass on every pleasant day. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 26, 1913.

- Book titled "The Wonders of the World's Fair," commemorating the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, also known as the World's Columbian Exposition. The cover indicates that the book is Vol. 1, No. 1 of the Acme Series, and is dated Feb. 10, 1894. It also indicates that Acme Series is distributed weekly, and can be subscribed to for $13.00 per year. The cover also indicates that the book was printed by Macauley Bros., Booksellers and Stationers, located at 172 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Michigan. The page of the cover indicates that the book is Copyrighted 1894, by W.B. Gonkey Company, Chicago. Each of the book's 16 pages contains a black and white photograph of a building, attraction, or view from the World's Fair, with a short description. The 16 featured views are as follows: 1. "Columbian Fountain from the Rear." 2. "United States Government Building." 3. "The Illinois Building." 4. "The Agriculture Building." 5. "Machinery Hall." 6. "The Electricy Building." 7. - One letter, dated January 12, 1870, from the Board of Supervisors of Saginaw County to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit. The letter was handwritten in black ink on white linen paper that has light blue lines and requested that the company furnish real estate record books for the county government.

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "General Arrangement of Sprinkler System, Main & Promenade Decks," for the passenger steamships, S.S. Greater Detroit and S.S. Greater Buffalo. The drawing shows plan views of the Main and Promenade decks along with the proposed layouts of sprinkler lines and sprinkler heads. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "American Shipb'ld'g Co., Eng. [Engineering] Dept." at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated October 17, 1923. The plan number is shown as "65-197."

- One set of architectural "Specifications for Mr. John C. Garvey for a Brick Veneered and Frame Hotel Building Located on the Northeast Corner of Dix Ave. and Waterman St." The specifications (Job 241) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of light brown paper that has a cloth backing and includes handwritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Successor to Falkinburg & Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 88 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page. John C. Garvey was the proprietor of the Michigan Central Stock Yards Hotel which was located at the corner of Dix Avenue and Waterman Street in southwest Detroit.
