- One advertising/Christmas card from the Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Company. The card is printed on heavy white paper and shows a multicolor drawing of two frogs and a gnome who are decorating a Christmas tree that is located inside a snow-covered log cabin. Printed text on the upper right side of the card shows "Ticket Agents and Connecting Lines: The operators of the two largest steamers of their type in the world, the 'Greater Detroit' and 'Greater Buffalo' ask you to lay your work aside long enough to accept our Heartiest Wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a New Year of increased prosperity and happiness." The card is dated "Dec. 18, 1924." The "D&C Lake Lines" logo is shown at the bottom of the card. The name of the printer, "Van Leyen - Hensler Co.," is shown near the lower right corner.

- Description:
- One advertisement card for the passenger steamship, Mayflower, which offered passages between Buffalo and Detroit with rail connections from Albany to Buffalo and from Chicago to Detroit via the Michigan Central Railroad Line. The front of the white paper card is printed in brown text and shows general timetable information for the steamship. The verso is printed in blue text and gives travel distances in miles from Detroit and Buffalo to various cities in Michigan and New York.
