- Color postcard depicting the waiting room in the Michigan Central Station, filled with carved wood benches. Printed on verso: Waiting Room in Michigan Central Station, Detroit, Mich. The New Michigan Central Station is located near Michigan Avenue, between fifteenth and seventeenth Streets, covers twenty-one acres and the total cost is $15,000,000.00. There will be eleven tracks in the station that will accommodate 135 passenger coaches. It will have all conveniences, such as a complete Drug Store with special facilities for the care of Invalids and Change Room where travelers can at nominal cost obtain Shower Baths and make a change of clothing. - Color postcard depicting the interior of the Log Cabin in Palmer Park, with table, chairs, piano, and fireplace in view. Printed on verso: Log Cabin, Palmer Park. - Built on land donated to the city by Ex-Senator Thomas W. Palmer in 1893, and is situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Avenue car line, is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its center piece is a log cabin which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was little more than a trading post. Postmarked Sep 4, 1913.
