In view are many pedestrians, streetcars, automobiles, the Merrill Fountain, Detroit Opera House, and signs reading "Bond's Clothes", "San Marto Coffee, Time to Drink", "Cascade", and "Waitt & Bond Blackstone Mild 10¢ Cigar". Printed on verso: Monroe Avenue, Detroit, Mich. Monroe Avenue is Detroit's Great Amusement thoroughfare. Here are located the Temple, Family, Columbia Royale and National Theatres; also any number of Nickel Shows. The electric display at night is very brilliant and here we follow the crowd in the evening. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jan 2, 1918.

In view are the Norton Hotel, Campau Block, Federal Building and Ford Building. Signs read "Ladies Gentlemen Café" and "Stormfeltz, Loveley Co. real Estate". Printed on verso: Griswold Street, The Wall Street of Detroit, Mich. Griswold Street is one block west of Woodward Avenue and is the Wall Street of Detroit, being lined on either side with office buildings. The two high buildings are the Ford and Dime Bank Buildings, the highest and largest office buildings in Detroit. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 15, 1915.

Printed on verso: Fort Street West is one of the leading business thoroughfares of Detroit. It connects the heart of the city with the immense manufacturing establishments in Delray. Cars leave its foot of Woodward Avenue for Woodmere, the Fort Wayne Barracks, Delray, Ecorse, Wyandotte, Trenton, Monroe, and Toledo. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 6, 1909.
