- An interdisciplinary panel composed of Michigan State University faculty participates in a discussion entitled "Seeing China." Panelists discuss their individual work on the topic of China and speak to the ways their work collectively addresses the impact of China's resurgence around the world through issues such as economic influence, cultural influence, ecology, sustainability, and population growth. Panelists include: Professor Jiaguo Qi, Assistant Professor Pamela Rasmussen, Professor Howard Bossen, Associate Professor Simei Qing, and Associate Professor Andrea Louie. MSU Honors College Dean Cynthia Jackson-Elmoore convenes the session and moderates questions from the audience. Part of the series "Sharper Focus/Wider Lens" sponsored by the MSU Honors College part of "The China experience: an MSU exploration of arts & culture." Held in the MSU Student Union.

- Photographer Luis Delgado-Qualtrough presents, "Bauhaus in a barrel," in conjunction with the Michigan State University Museum's exhibition, "Seeing China: photographic views and viewpoints," as part of MSU's Year of China in 2015. Delgado explains his outlook and style of photography, while showing some of his works. He answers questions from the audience about his photographs and his methods.
