- Waverly Park's wooden roller coaster near a wooded picnic area. The coaster was one of many improvements made to the park after it was purchased by the Lansing and Suburban Traction Co. in 1903. Donated by H. Standish.

- Looking east toward the dam from the small park on the west bank, at the end of East Maple Street. At the far end of the dam is a small hydroelectric generating facility used to power streetlights. In the background are coal storage silos. In this version, a woman is at the fence looking at the river.

Rosa Public Library. The trees in the background are part of Reutter Park at South Capitol Avenue and West Kalamazoo Street.
