Hunter House-Built in 1822, this is the oldest house in the city of Birmingham, Michigan. The house is being restored by the City of Birmingham and the Birmingham Historical Society." - Color-tinted postcard image of a wood framed mill with stone foundation and stone mill race along Maple Road just west of Southfield Road, looking west. A bridge crosses the Rouge River, and a pasture and fence are present on the south side of Maple Road, which is unpaved. Pub. The Backenstose Book Store in Pontiac. Printed in Germany by Hugh C. Leighton Co. (circa 1906)
