The certificate has a decorative border with a black engraved pattern and images as well as an embossed company seal near the lower left corner. Handwritten and printed text indicates that "Oliver E. Dunbar is the owner of One (1) Share of the Capital Stock of Dunbar Stone Company." The certificate is dated November 30, 1908, and is signed by "Harris T. Dunbar, President," and "E.C. Dunbar, Secretary." The verso contains decorative green engraved borders, background patterns, and text.

- One postcard note addressed to "Mr. O. [Oliver] E. Dunbar, Amherstburg, Ont. [Ontario]." A handwritten note in black ink on the verso reads "#7-14-21-28 have been reposing in the Marine Safe & so forth since last Thursday morning. L.H.D. [Lucilla H. Dunbar] 7/18/05." The postcard has postmarks from Buffalo, N.Y., July 18, 1905, and Amherstburg, Ont., July 19, 1905.

- One 2-page letter, dated July 12th 1905, to "O.E.D. [Oliver E. Dunbar]" from "H.T.D. [Harris T. Dunbar]." The letter is handwritten in black ink on white linen paper (both sides) that has pre-printed light blue lines. The letter is transcribed as follows: "O.E.D. The numbers on the house safe are 40-60-35. The D&S bonds are in the upper left hand space - You will find space where you sign and on numbers 7, 14, 21, & 28 you sign twice - You can take those four with you if you desire or leave them in the safe. You will find directions on my desk to open D&S safe if you wish to get in it. Don't let Julia see these bonds. H.T.D." "July 12th /05 Recd. of O. E. Dunbar the four above mentioned bonds numbered 7-14-21-28 which I am to put in safety deposit vault at Manufacturers & Traders Bk. L.H.
