The building pictured to the left of the buggy features a sign "Gas Company" and was originally constructed as a house for Frederick Curtenius. The second building was a house originally built for Luther Trask. Also pictured in the background are street lights and bicycles. Photograph was taken by W. V. Hubbard of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
