- An exterior photograph of the R. E. Olds home at the corner of Kalamazoo and Grand. This photograph was likely taken within a few years after its completion, based on the model of car in the photograph. It is said to be the first home in Lansing with an attached garage.

- Pere Marquette Crossing at Eastern Ave looking north. A striped RR crossing sign with flashing lights stands in the middle of the street, Visible are houses in the 1500 block of Eastern, and house on Cottage Grove Street, and J. Mollema Fuel Co. and Leatherman Fuel Co. building and yard with piles of firewood and coal, and trucks. On the street are autos and city bus from 1937.

Molema and Son's Fuel buildings on both sides of the street, and house a block north on Eastern. Also visible, a billboard advertising Wrigley's Gum and a small sign promoting Grand Rapids Lounge Furniture with logo, at 1601 Marshall Ave SE. "Quality Upholstered Furniture at Modest Prices, Sold through reliable Furniture Dealers, one block E. one south. Look for the Shop Mark."
