- Children seated at desks while a teacher watches. There were 11 slides in a box labeled "Maplewood-Cherry." Nothing on the individual slides distinguishes which images were taken at which school. Cherry Street School was located in the 400 block of South Cherry Street. Maplewood School was in the 2200 block of South Cedar Street.

- Located at 1900 Cedar Street South at the southwest corner of Cedar and Mount Hope Road East. The land was purchased in 1924 and a v-shaped building was constructed. It was named for Walter H. French who held many titles in the community. The school opened in 1925 with additions made in 1957. Contents include: Sports photos, anniversaries, awards, principals, history, guides, correspondence, records, clippings, treasurer book, slides taken by students between 1967 and 1979.

- Opened in 1918 at 2216 South Cedar Street. Photo d shows the Wheels of Lansing car dealership in the right foreground. Based on date stamps, some of the photographs in this set were taken in 1966. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection. Six views.

- Aerial view showing city blocks on either side of Washington Avenue, to Cedar Street, bounded by the northern end of River Street and Hillsdale Street. View is oriented toward the east. The numeral "4" is seen handwritten on the image which is thought to identify a block number for city planners.

- Located at 3426 Cedar Street South. Everett Elementary was orginally built in the 1850s and was named for Arthur Everett. An addition was made in the 1890s but demolished in 1960 and in 1923 and 1934 more additions were introduced. A new gym was built in 1937 and a lower floor in 1939. An extra upper floor was built in 1947 before being annexed to Lansing Schools in 1950. They operated within the high school buildings for a time. Contents include: PTA Scrapbooks and historical materials, Board and PTA meeting minutes, treasury records, payroll ledgers, monthly reports, book donation acknowledgements, Progressive Education Association books, flags, awards, and banners.
