- Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the port side of the Pennsylvania Steamship Company freighter JACOB T. KOPP, under steam. Three figures are on the main deck, another stands at the stern, and a fifth is inside of a cowl vent adjacent to the smokestack. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background. The image is captioned with the date, 1915. The non-archival envelope which previously housed the plate included the following hand-written details: JACOB T KOPP 204.815 renamed G.N. WILSON CONSUMERS POWER HARRY YATES EDMUND P. SMITH 1939

- Description:
- Sepia-toned photo of the Wyandotte Transportation Company freighter WYANDOTTE, in drydock undergoing a lengthening at Great Lakes Engineering Works, taken peering inside of the hull from where the removed bow would have been. The photo is mounted on beige cardboard with a decorative brown border. "Fred Mogk, Photographer, 23 Henry St. River Rouge - Michigan," is stamped, and "Str. Wyandotte, Lengthened in 1910, Great Lakes Engineering Works" is handwritten on the verso.
