- For R. E. Olds' 80th birthday on June 3, 1944, over 600 letters of congratulation were collected and bound. This is Olds' letter of thanks for the gift, as well as one copy of an example letter, from C. M. Burdick, and a photograph of Olds with the bound letters, all on one sheet of paper. The collection contains two copies of this item.
