- This cyan halftone picture was cut from a page and shows a view of policemen on parade along the east side of Woodward Avenue. Grand Circus Park and the Central United Methodist Church can be seen in the left background. Business names that are visible include: J. F. Hartz, E. F. & W. E. Metzger, and A. A. Gray. A handwritten note at the bottom of the cutout shows "Grand Circus Park, East side Woodward Ave." along with the date, "Jany. 1st 1901."

- Sepia-toned photographic print depicting four buildings on West Adams Street as viewed from the edge of Grand Circus Park. The Crystal Shoppe in the Park Building, the Ross Fur Company, a Second Empire-style building with only a sign reading, "Must Move, 30% Off on all Wallpaper," and the corner of the Fine Arts Building are all pictured. The visible portion of the Fine Arts Building includes signs for the Adams Theatre, Dr. Hubbell, Dr. White, Dr. Ranny, Dr, Parker, and Dr. W.C. Reid the dentist. The marquee of the Adam's Theatre advertises the Constance Talmadge film Dangerous Business. A row of automobiles are parked along Adams street and a man is working under the hood of the central one. "Nov. 29 - 20" and "38788" are printed in the lower right corner. "Manning Bros. Inc., Commercial Photographers, 333 State St. Room 505, Detroit, Michigan" is stamped on the verso. "W. Printed on verso: Woodward Avenue Looking North. - This Bird's Eye view was taken from the corner of Woodward Avenue and part Street and shows Grand Circus Park on both sides. The tall building on the right is the new Y.M.C.A., which was erected in 1908; and the entire cost of same will be in the neighborhood of $700,,000.00. This is one of the most complete buildings of its kind in the country and boasts of a gymnasium second to none. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 2, 1910.

Printed on verso: West Grand Circus Park. The oldest of Detroit's breathing grounds, situated almost in the center of the city's retail district, is Grand Circus park. Magnificent shade trees are everywhere, real monarchs of the forest that started to grow before ever a white man set his foot on what is now the State of Michigan. This park was set aside in 1854 under the general re-districting of the city. The building in the background is the Hotel Tuller. Mr. T.C. O'Donnell will call about "June 10"; Murphy Chair Co.
