There several Deans in the 1898 directory; this is likely Joseph and Fannie Dean who boarded at 607 Seymour Street that year. Note on sleeve: "No. 9, Mr. & Mrs. Dean. May 21 '98. 5 pm. Time 2 sec. Opr. Hat."
