- A photograph of the R. E. Olds family home's living room, showing the pipe organ that was installed along a west wall. The organ was made by the Aeolian Co. of New York. The photograph has a small studio mark "Hughes - Lansing" in the lower right corner.

- Karl Kalsow was a band leader who spent the summer of 1940 with his group performing at the Mayfair at Lake Lansing, Haslett, Mich. before moving on to the Jackson area in 1941. He is seen here playing a Hammond Novachord, which was an early form of synthesizer.
