- Black and white photo of the small passenger steamboats ODD FELLOW and MABLE docked in Elk Rapids, Michigan, as viewed from the foot of the dock with the bow of the ODD FELLOW on the left, and that of the MABLE on the right. Passengers stand on the dock between the boats, as well as on board both boats. A dog is among the group on the dock. "ODD FELLOW and MABLE 1905," was typewritten on a caption previously stapled to the upper left corner of the recto. "Elk Rapids, Michigan," is handwritten on the verso.

- Color postcard depicting the PUT-IN-BAY in open water and its decks filled with people. Printed on verso: Steamer Put-in-Bay. The new steamer "Put-in-Bay" of the Ashley & Dustin Steamer Line is called the "New Flyer of the Lakes." This boat has six decks, is 240 feet long, 60 feet wide, has 7,000 square feet of dancing space, three thousand horse power triple expansion engines and a carrying capacity of 4,000 people. On the observation deck are a large number of ocean steamer chairs and the shade deck is fitted out with private parlors. The "Put-in-Bay" represents the newest development in lake excursion steamers. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Feb 12, 1913.

- One plan sheet entitled, "Deck Frame for Str. 59/60, F.&P.M. [Flint & Pere Marquette]." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a half plan view of the structural deck frame arrangement for the proposed wooden-hulled, propeller-driven, passenger steamships. The plan was prepared by Frank E. Kirby at a scale of 1 1/2 inches = 1 foot by the Detroit Dry Dock Company and is dated May, 1882. (Steamer numbers 59 and 60 were the Detroit Dry Dock hull numbers for the passenger steamships that were known as F.&P.M. No. 1 and F.&P.M. No. 2, respectively.)

The steamers Pleasure and Tashmoo, loading with excursionists,, bound respectively for Belle Isle and the St. Clair Flats. Thousands of people take in the popular trips these steamers afford. The scene is typical of the summer season in Detroit. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 19, 1908.

- Color postcard depicting the steamer PLEASURE docked at the foot of Woodward Avenue. A sign on the boat reads "Pleasure" and a sign on the dock reads "Moonlight To-Night, Steamer Columbia, 8:30 to 11:30, 35¢". In the foreground is a car and a person on a bicycle. Printed on verso: Belle Isle Pleasure Boat. A favorite method of access to Belle Isle, Detroit's principal pleasure ground, is by steamer, and boats leave regularly from convenient wharves, for the big pier at "The Island." The scene shows one of the large steamers of the Detroit Belle Isle and Windsor Ferry Co., leaving the foot of Woodward Avenue for Belle Isle, band playing and picknickers [sic] thronging the decks. The verso bears a map showing the routes of the D&C line.
