Car number 710 is on an adjacent set of tracks in the background. Both cars' destination signs read "Trumbull." Several other cars are in the entrance of the carhouse, beside several large spools of cable.. The traffic island in the foreground is landscaped with two round gardens. A "keep off the grass" sign is also on its lawn. "Trumbull Car Barns Detroit, Mich. Pesha Photo" is printed along the bottom of the image. "Detroit United Rys. #710-126-, Trumbull car barns 1914," is stamped on the verso.

- Mounted, sepia-toned photographic print depicting six people standing outside of a row of five electric streetcars on a snowy day. "Trumbull" is written on the tops of the streetcars; however the nearest car, number 278, also has a small sign marked "Chene" at its end. Three homes are visible on the opposite side of the street, behind the cars. Photo is mounted to off-white matting with a textured frame around the image. "March 5/99" handwritten on verso. Copy is black and white 10" x 8" enlargement.
