- Book that was presented to Annette "Nettie" Henry Alger upon her marriage to Russell Alger containing advice for newlyweds written by William M. Thayer, and published by John P. Jewett & Company, of Cleveland, Ohio. The book contains four chapters, "The Pastor's Address," "Duties of Conjugal Relation," "Dedication of Home," "Last Words to Bridal Pair, as well as a section of poetry. A handwritten inscription within reads: Dear Nettie, May your life be bright as the sunshine that ushers in your bridal day. Truly your friend, Sarah B.C, Greeley The book also contains a certificate which has been filled out in pencil: This certifies that Russell A. Alger and Nettie A. Henry were united in Marriage by me, according to the Laws of the State og Michigan at Grand Rapids, April 2nd, 1860. Rev. J.S. Whaley[?] The book is bound in a off-white cover with embossed scrollwork on the cover, some in gold.

- Large cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned group portrait photograph of Florine Tefft Barbour and her bridesmaids for her wedding with Dr. William Henry. The bridesmaids are are wearing floral-pattern dresses with full sleeves and are holding bouquets. The bride is in white dress to the left of center. "From left to right standing: Irene Swift, Clara Dyer, Lucy Griggs, Maggie Smith, Jessie Cortel; sitting: Mildred Frazer, Grou[?] Barbour, Lillian Kent, Mimi[?] Chittenden." is handwritten on the verso. Arthur & Philbric, Paris Panel, Detroit, Mich., Grand Rapids, Mich,. Toledo, Ohio" is embossed along the left edge of the card.

- Invitation cards and envelope for the wedding of Frances A. McGraw to J. Gardner Pruden, on Wednesday January 26, 1876, sent by the bride's parents, "Mr. and Mrs. V.W. McGraw" to "Mrs. Dickinson and family." The set contains a half-folded card, a pair of cards fastened with white cord with Frances A. McGraw's name on one and J. Gardner Pruden on the other, and a card with a paneled border and a monogram of the letters P.McG. A note from the donor is handwritten on the envelope, "Moses Field Dickinson, my grandfather, M. Wesson Dickinson."

- A handwritten letter from Lewis Cass to Sarah A. Sibley, written to accompany a wedding gift for Sibley's future sister-in-law, Marie Louise Miller, who married Alexander Hamilton Sibley on September 14, 1865. The letter reads: Mothersday My dear Miss Sibley, With you I am this [?] to present this paid[?] to your future sister-in-law, with my best and warmest wishes for her happiness. And please say to stay[?] that for many a long day nothing has given me half as much pleasure as the announcement of his intended[?] message. Yours Truly Lewis Cass Miss Sibley
