- Half-folded invitation to a pair of events celebrating George Washington's birthday consisting of an oration given by Rev. Henry Neill at Firemen's Hall, followed by a ball at the Russell House as a benefit for the Ladies' Mount Vernon Association. Details on the events are printed in script on the front. A handwritten message, presumably addressed to Benjamin F. H. Witherell, president of the State Historical Society, is contained within: The Historical Society are respectfully invited to join the procession at 1 1/2 o'clock PM at the Russell House. W.B. Howe, Chairman of [?] "Washington's Birthday 1859," is handwritten on the verso so that it would appear on top when the invitation was folded into sixths.

- Three pages from a ledger, numbered 690, 691, and 692, bound by a brass fastener. The first page is dated February 8, 1901, and is titled "Winter Stock." Below, the page lists articles of women's clothing beside dollar amounts. The page appears to have been repaired with backing cut from a letter from a Chicago-based company. The second page contains two tables, one of company names and dollar amounts, the other for advertising expenses in Detroit newspapers. The third page contains tables of monthly amounts in different categories from February 1900 through February 1901, as well as a "Summary" of different totals. The pages are in brown and red ink on lightweight partially translucent paper.

- Hexagonal J.L. Hudson Company trade card with a color image of a scene of a shepherd leading a flock of sheep beside a pond on the recto, credited to "Bufford." "Compliments of J.L. Hudson, Clothier," is printed on a banner drawn as if pinned to the lower right corner of the card. Text on the verso gives the store's address as 141, 143, and 145 Woodward Avenue, and promotes the store's selection, and prices, and encourages out-of-towners visiting Detroit to come to the store.

- J.L. Hudson trade card advertising the company's move from the Detroit Opera House building, to their new location at 141, 143, and 145 Woodward Avenue. The recto is printed with an image of a stork leaning over a crib holding a baby, with a bouquet of flowers and a window in the background. "J.L. Hudson, Clothier, Detroit Opera House Building," is printed along the top. The verso is printed with the text, "On or about April 1st we will remove to our new stores, 141, 143 &145 Woodward Ave. where we shall be pleased to receive our Friends and Customers. J.L. Hudson." "Selma Beer" is handwritten on the verso in pencil.

- 1868 price list from the Detroit Stove Works. Both sides have four separate panels of information. On the recto is a panel with the Detroit Stove Works's manufacturer information on it, and panels detailing the available models and costs for "Coal Heating Stoves," "Miscellaneous items," "Stove Hollow Ware," and "Stove Furniture." On the verso are panels detailing the available models and costs for "Square Cook Stoves," "Elevated Oven Cook Stoves," "Parlor and Heating Stoves," "Tops and Bases," and "Sugar & Cauldron Kettles." Several handwritten notes are found in the margins of the prices and models on the verso, giving adjusted prices and information on new models.
