- Russell House menu dated November 15, 1904. A gold embossed early automobile is depicted at the top of the menu. The menu is printed on beige paper, that has been half-folded but is blank inside.

- One copyright registration, "No. 111 I," dated January 3, 1878, issued by the "Library of Congress, Copyright Office, Washington." The registration form is printed in black text on white paper and includes blank lines that have been completed in handwritten black ink text. It indicates that a copyright was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit for a "Book or Form" which is described in more specific detail in handwritten text. The registration form was signed in the lower right corner by "A. R. [Ainsworth Rand] Spofford, Librarian of Congress." An oval-shaped embossed seal of the Copyright Office is located in the upper left corner of the form.

- Gatefold dinner menu from the Russell House, dated Tuesday October 30, 1902. The left cover flap is printed with red and blue flowers and the word, "Dinner." The right flag is printed with the hotel's crest, and stamped with the number "10." The bottom of the menu includes a list suggesting "Amusements Tonight." "Cardinal," featuring E.S. Willard is listed at the Detroit Opera House. The minstrel show of Primrose and Dockstader is at the Lyceum Theatre. "High Class Vaudeville" is available at the Avenue Theatre.

- Handwritten letter of recommendation with envelope written by Harry A. O'Brien, the head of Northwestern High School's Commercial Department, to Paull Fitzgerald of First National Bank on behalf of Northwestern graduate Harold Nunez, dated January 20, 1922. The letter is on Northwestern High School stationery. O'Brien explains that Nunez excelled in his bookkeeping class. O'Brien suggests Nunez as a candidate for the positions open to high school graduates of which he was recently notified. The envelope bear's the recipient's handwritten name, "Mr. Paull Fitzgerald, First National Bank."

- A la carte menu card from the Hotel Pontchartrain, dated Monday, February 13, 1918. The recto lists oysters, hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish, steaks and chops, poultry, specials, vegetables, potatoes, cold meats, salads, and desserts. The verso declares that the hotel is a member of the United States Food Administration, and urges the conservation of food for the war effort. Additionally, a disclaimer on the verso cautions that the management declines responsibility to damage to clothing caused by accidents in the dining room.
