- One pocket notebook with a red leather cover that is stamped in gold lettering, "Compliments of C. B. Hutchins & Sons." The front page and the inside back cover page include advertising for "The Hutchins Freight Car Roof." The inside pages have light blue grid lines that are printed on white paper. Most pages are blank, but the rest have miscellaneous calculations, notes, and personal names handwritten in pencil. Some of the notes appear to pertain to purchases of wood.

Hudson trade card bearing a color illustration of a cat with a yellow ribbon around its neck laying between a vase of flowers in the foreground, and a pot containing a cherry tomatoes in the background. "Compliments of J.L. Hudson, Clothier, Detroit Opera House Building," is printed along the pot. "Copyright 1883 By E.P. & L. Restein, Phila." is printed in the lower left corner. The card is mounted on a cardstock backing.

- Breakfast menu card from the Hotel Pontchartrain, dated January 20, 1918. The recto lists fruit, beverages, cereals, eggs, oysters, fish, specials, steaks and chops, and potatoes. The verso declares that the hotel is a member of the United States Food Administration, and urges the conservation of food for the war effort. Additionally, a disclaimer on the verso cautions that the management declines responsibility to damage to clothing caused by accidents in the dining room.

- One copyright registration, "No. 85 I," dated January 3, 1878, issued by the "Library of Congress, Copyright Office, Washington." The registration form is printed in black text on white paper and includes blank lines that have been completed in handwritten black ink text. It indicates that a copyright was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit for a "Book or Form" which is described in more specific detail in handwritten text. The registration form was signed in the lower right corner by "A. R. [Ainsworth Rand] Spofford, Librarian of Congress." An oval-shaped embossed seal of the Copyright Office is located in the upper left corner of the form.

- Half-folded pamphlet advertising the Headquarters Cafe at 29 Michigan Avenue or 14 Lafayette Avenue. The cover is printed with a caricature presumably of the restaurant's proprietor William C. Klenk spraying a small man with a seltzer bottle while a dog watches. A satirical passage written as a letter from the late agnostic orator Robert G. Ingersoll mailed from Hell to Klenk, expressing his desire for some of Headquarters' food, as well as its popularity among the realm's other residents, is contained within. Several blurbs including one advertising the restaurants "special wire connections" to sports venues so spectators can easily place orders are printed on the back.
