- Black and white photograph of a cafe within the Russell House. A dining table beneath a white table cloth is set up in the foreground to the left of center. Glassware is on the table. The table is surrounded by three chairs with leather upholstery on the seat and backrest, as well as a forth chair with a triangular seat, and a semi-circular piece that extends around the chair to serve both as the arm rests and the back rest. A china cabinet stands against the wall behind the table. A chandelier incorporating antlers as well as a carved wooden figure of a woman is hung above the table. Two other dining tables are on the right edge of the photo. The recto is signed with the initials, "F.S." "Russell House," is handwritten on the verso.

- Menu for a Bankers Club of Detroit banquet held at the Russell House on April 3, 1902. The menu consists of a two leafs of beige paper bound with blue ribbon between two beige pieces of cardstock. The cover is printed with a blue engraving of a woman in a flowing robe and a Phrygian cap holding a torch and quill while leaning on a block containing the embossed gold crest of the Bankers Club of Detroit. The menu and a program of pieces of be performed by the Russell House Orchestra under the direction of L. Alberti are contained within.

- One tax receipt, dated December, 14, 1871, issued by the Wayne County Treasurer's Office in Detroit. It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that A. Richmond [of Richmond & Backus Company] paid $242.56 for state and county taxes on property located at "W [west] 24 ft., Lot 3, Blk 1" and also "Richmond and Backus Personal." The receipt was signed by "James Collins, D. [Deputy] County Treasurer."

Nine illustrations of women in outfits, and two of just skirts are contained within. The catalog is staple-bound in a tan paper cover.

- A letter from Ralph Emery, a clerk working for the Detroit Stove Works, to his father, Robert T. Emery, in Belfast, Maine, dated March 6th, 1887. The letter is written on Detroit Stove Works letterhead, which features a lithograph, credited to the Calvert Lithograph Company, depicting the Detroit Stove Works offices in Detroit and Chicago as well as the company's foundry in Hamtramck, Michigan. The letter reads: My dear Father, Yours of the 26th came duly at hand + as usually was glad to hear from you. No I have not written Andrew Gibson for a long time but shall very soon, have kept writing it off in order to get a picture to send him that he wanted. It doesn't seem to me the XII Club Ball could have been up to any of its preceding ones - am sorry that are not Keeping them up to standards. I suppose before I get an answer to this letter election will be over + we shall know which party is victorious. I noticed the illusion[sic] to "Gentle Annie" in the "Press" but did not know what it meant. Am glad you explained. Brackett is a "chump." They are trying to get Prohibition in Mich. + will vote on it in a special election this spring but don't think they will carry it. The "Press" seems to be doing the "Age" up in great shape. Notice in the Press of 1st, under "News of the Creek" that the Michigan Club of Detroit has soured on [James G.] Blaine because he was not here to the Banquet on Febr 22nd - While everyone was sorry Mr. Blaine could not be here, he gave couple reasons for not coming - the Mich. Club is one of the most, if not the most powerful Republican organization, outside of the Lincoln Club in Chicago, in the West it is solid for Blaine - I would like to see Blaine + [Russell Alexander] Alger (gov. RA) (of Detroit) nominated. Please tell Emery that the Club has not soured on Blaine. The weather is very disagreeable, has been raining all day + yesterday it snowed - Write first chance am quite busy at present. With regards to all friends. Your affec. son, Ralph Emery

- Half-folded Russell House dinner menu, dated Tuesday, October 28, 1902, printed on mustard-colored paper. The hotel's crest is printed on the cover in red. In addition to dinner options the menu also contains a program of selections to be performed by the Russell House Orchestra under the direction of L. Alberti, as well as a list of "Amusements Tonight" at nearby theaters. "Cardinal," featuring E.S. Willard is listed at the Detroit Opera House. The minstrel show of Primrose and Dockstader is at the Lyceum Theatre. Florence Bindley and Vaudeville is available at the Avenue Theatre.

- J.L. Hudson trade card advertising the company's move from the Detroit Opera House building, to their new location at 141, 143, and 145 Woodward Avenue. The recto is printed with an image of a woman in a white gown with orange dots, a girdle belt, and an armlet arranging flowers in a vase atop a pedestal. "J.L. Hudson, Clothier, Detroit Opera House Building," is printed along the top. The verso is printed with the text, "On or about April 1st we will remove to our new stores, 141, 143 &145 Woodward Ave. where we shall be pleased to receive our Friends and Customers. J.L. Hudson." "Selma Beer," is handwritten on the verso.
