- When this business first opened in 1937, it was known as The Peanut Store. Its name changed to The Peanut Shop in 1962. Located at 117 South Washington Avenue. The Dr. School Foot Comfort Shop can also be seen.

- Text attached to photo reads: "Here the Cedar Trail arrowed north through the forest along the Grand, and here, where the new Main street bridge was being built in 1949, the first crude bridge was placed in 1847. The settlement that grew up on both sides of the stream was "Upper Town," with a thriving little business district." Gift of Birt Darling.
