- Description:
- The Women's Hall was built in 1899 and later named Morrill Hall. Card is addressed to Mrs. H.M. Herbert. Text on card reads: "Greetings from M.A.C. Woman's Building." Message to Mrs. Herbert reads: "This is close to the 24 of Sept. compared with the time since Adam, isn't it? Sunday is the only day I have any time any more. So everything like letters has to come then. This building like some of the Ag. buildings I have never been in. I have heard it was quite interesting but I don't know. Tell grandma I have not got R. and Amy's address. Emerson."

- Description:
- A "Passion Cross" procession of uniformed Knights Templars on Washington Avenue, marching to "Onward Christian Soldiers." According to the Lansing State Journal, over 5,000 members came from around Michigan for the annual Conclave event which involved the parade, competitive drills held at the Michigan State College stadium, a grand ball at the Masonic temple, a business meeting, a banquet for members and their wives, tours, and other activities. It was to date the largest Conclave to take place in Michigan, in part due to favorable weather conditions. The photograph is taken from an upper floor or the roof of the building at the corner of Ottawa and Washington streets, looking north up Washington Avenue. The Empress Cafe and the Bishop Company can be seen in the 300 block opposite, and further in the distance is the Lansing Storage Company warehouse. On the left a few letters of the Buck's sign can be seen. Two copies.
