The bridge leading to the club house, the feet of the club's docks on the eastern side of the building, and several small sailboats are visible. - Negative, glass-plate. Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha, depicting Ann Arbor No. 5 carferry making its way up the St. Clair River on January 6th, 1911. This trip was the maiden voyage from the shipyard to Frankfort, Mi. A nearby tree-lined shore with a church at the right edge is visible in the background.

- Black and white panoramic photo of a rowing scull race on the Detroit River as viewed from the Belle Isle Bridge near the Detroit Boat Club. The Boat Club is visible in the background. Many spectators can be seen on the bridge, in various large and small boats adjacent to the course, and on the shore. The photo is mounted under glass in a 1" wide wood frame that has been painted black. The paper backing of the framed photo is torn. A label is glued to the back of the frame which notes, "HA 9-5779, Cave's Mirror and Glass Shop, Picture Framing, Fine Prints, Mirrors, Glass Furniture Tops; 3 King's Highway East, Haddonfield, N.J." On one side of the paper backing, the year, "1909," is written in black ink.
