- Frederick Stearns and Company invoice for two gallons of tar and cherry syrup sold to P.J. Winn and Company of Fork Union, Virginia for $4.50, stamped February 1, 1898. The invoice is printed on letterhead including lithographs of Frederick Stearns and Company's Detroit laboratory and a coat of arms with a shield divided party per chevron and charged with three crosses, and a bird as a crest. The letterhead lists Frederick K. Stearns as the president, Frank C. McLaughlin as the vice president and treasurer, and Thomas Bennett as the secretary. "Bill F. Stearns & Co., tar cherry 2 gallons, $4.50," is handwritten on the verso.

- Sheet of ten Red Cross Christmas Seals with a half-folded explanatory sheet. The stamps are printed with an image of Liberty holding a torch and shield, below a pattern of mistletoe and the Red Cross symbol. The sheet explains the stamps are a reward for involvement in the organization's Christmas Roll Call, and contains information on tuberculosis, some geared toward dealing with infected soldiers.

The banner features the images of a Red Cross nurse when her arm outstretched and a group of marching trooper behind her on the left, and the "Greatest Mother in the World" image by Alonzo Foringer, of a giant Red Cross nurse cradling a small wounded soldier in a stretcher.

- 26 page sewn booklet written by John D. Kergan, M.D., founder, president and Medical Superintendent of Drs. K and K. U.S. Medical and Surgical Association. Within is a description of his organization, an article entitled, "Nervous Debility, The Cause of Premature Old Age, Physical and Metal Imbicility, Etc.," which pins the titular afflictions on "the vice of self-indulgence," and several pages of testimonials from people who claim to have been cured of such issues by the group. The booklet also includes engravings depicting Kergan, the offices of the U.S. Medical And Surgical Association of Detroit on Griswold Street and Michigan Avenue, and the River Park Sanitarium in Wyandotte.
