- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing a 2-story brick police station building. The station (5th Precinct) was located on Trumbull Avenue near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Church Street. "Trumbull Ave." street signs are visible on the left and right corners of the building and three faces can be seen in the windows to the left of the doorway. The photo was probably taken in early spring since buds are just becoming visible on the trees in front of the station. The "Flour, Grain & Mill Feed" business of A. H. Zink can be seen on Church Street to the right of the police station as well as the adjacent harness shop of Frank Joyce. The horse-drawn delivery wagon of Malcomson Bros. Grocers is parked in front of the two previously-mentioned businesses. Michigan Avenue runs behind the police station building and short sections of the road are visible at the far left and far right sides of the photo.

All of the men are wearing uniforms except for one who is wearing a dark suit and overcoat and is seated near the center of the photo. Printed text above the photo shows "Delray Police Station, April 1st 1906." Names of the policemen are printed beneath the photo as follows (left to right, back row): "E. Watson, signal officer; E. F. Hasting, patrolman; F. Weibel, patrolman; A. A. Coats, patrolman; A. Schoenrath, patrolman; P. O'Grady, patrolman; D. Gordon, patrolman; R. Weir, patrolman; E. Hays, signal officer." - Print (2 copies). Black and white halftone photographic print depicting the exterior of the Eighth Precinct Police Station on Grand River Avenue and Myrtle Street (now Martin Luther King Boulevard). The station is composed of two structures, topped with several conical towers, and linked by a small arch. Both copies are mounted on linen backings, however the more damaged of the two retains less of the paper border surrounding the image.

- Print. A mounted, sepia-toned photographic print depicting twelve men posing on the steps and porch of the Fifth Precinct Police Station on McClellan Avenue. Names for several men have been written on the photo or in its margins. On the steps are eight uniformed police officers, wearing long coats, tall helmets with circular brims, and truncheons. Among this group are Oehmke, Van Der Van, and Elliott. On the porch at the left are two men. The first, Cotter, wears a boater hat, suit and tie. To his right is Hogan, clad in a police jacket with notched lapels and stripes around the cuffs, and a broad-brimmed hat. On the right side of the porch are two men as well. The first, J.P. Smith wears a light pin-striped suit and hat. An unidentified man on the right wears a police jacket with notched lapels, but no stripes, with a broad-brimmed had. The photo is mounted to a green matting with a textured border. "1910" is handwritten on the verso.

Sepia-toned photo showing 34 Detroit Police lieutenants standing on the steps in front of the entrance to the old Police Headquarters building which was located at the corner of Bates and Farmer Streets. The street name signs are visible on the sides of the building in the upper right and upper left areas of the photo. Handwritten text on the verso shows "Old Police Headquarters, 1920" and "Top row, Left to right: Lieutenants Fisher, Denny O'Connor, Shanahan, Teichbein, Foust, Berg. 2nd Row down: Lieutenants Edwards, Knight, Fienan, Maloney, Reifsthall, Van Netter. 3rd Row down: Lieutenants Ryff, Baxter, Sosinki, McGuigan, Fitzpatrick, McRobbie. 4th Row down: Lieutenants Sterenton, Bates, Baker, Dingiman, Doyle, Schuknecht, Henderson. Front Row: Lieutenants Blisser, Smith, Schink, Cris, Johnson, Torbett, Schachschneider, Miller, Patterson." An additional inscription notes "To Insp't. Chas. Rhodes, Compliments of Insp't. J. N. Bates."
