- Color postcard depicting the Free Press Building and German American Bank from the corner of W Lafayette Boulevard and Griswold Street, with parked cars in front. Printed on verso: The Free Press is one of the leading newspapers of the country, and their new building is located within 200 feet of the City Hall. It is a ten story building, 100 feet front and 130 feet deep, and is 140 feet high. The front is of white glazed terracotta, and ornamental iron work. The side walls are of brick. Motor Bus carrying passengers over Bridge and around Belle Isle. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 5, 1913.

Palmer Park, where light house is located is a restful retreat of 120 acres and is located seven miles out Woodward avenue. One of the delightful features is its Log Cabin with its quaint furniture. It has many acres of woods, children's playgrounds and a casino where refreshments are served. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Mar 29, 1914.

A sign reads, "Canadian Pacific". Printed on verso: Pontchartrain Hotel and Hammond Building, Detroit, Mich. This View of Campus Martius shows the Hotel Pontchartrain. Soldiers and Sailors Monument built in 1881 at a cost of $70,000. The red building at right is the Hammond Building. The electric sign on top of building is one of the finest in the west and when in action gives a description of the famous Chariot Race of Ben Hur.
