- Color postcard depicting the floral clock reading "Water Power" in Water Works Park, with a pedestrian on the road and the tower in the background. Printed on verso: Water Works Park, Detroit, Mich. The Water Works Park occupies a 72 acre lot of ground on Jefferson avenue, is owned by the city and partially occupied by its waterworks pumping station, has been made one of Detroit's beauty spots. The water supply is pumped through a long tunnel from Lake St. Clair to the distributing point, and the park is remarkable for its large floral clock. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Nov 5, 1918.

Printed on verso: Capitol Square Park, situated in the business district of the city, is one of the many small breathing spots which Detroit's Park and Boulevard Commission keeps beautiful the year round. It takes its name from the fact that, for several years, the building housing the Michigan offices occupied the property, before the center of government was transferred to Lansing.
