On the bottom of the one seat (CAAM 1990. 76) is a metal label which reads: Charles Eames design/Herman Miller-Zeeland-Michigan. This product was first manufactured by Evans Products in 1945. Herman Miller became the distributor in 1946, and in 1949 the manufacturer.
