- Color postcard depicting the fountain in Clark Park, which features winged horses at its base. Printed on verso: Fountain at Clark's Park, Detroit, Mich. Clark's Park is situated on Clark, Scotten and Dix Avenues. Half of it was donated by John P. Clark in 1890 and the balance purchased by the city. It comprises 23 acres and it one of the many beautiful parks in the city. Band concerts are given at regular intervals during the summer season. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Apr, 1914.

The fountain on the eastern side of the park is in the foreground. Two children are visible near the edge of the fountain. The photos are mounted on an orange card with "Detroit, Mich." and "J.A. Jenny Publisher" printed on the left and right borders.

The driver holds a riding crop, while a man near the rear of the carriage blows a long horn. A team of four horses pull the carriage. A fountain and several other people are visible among the trees in the background. "Detroit, August 23rd, 1897, For Miss Sarah Russel, Compliments of Cornelius A. Pugsley and Bradfrod Rhodes." handwritten in script on matting.
