- Color postcard depicting the Friedrich Schiller monument by Herman N. Matzen on Belle Isle. Printed on verso: The Schiller Monument on Belle Isle in one of the most imposing structures to be found on this beautiful recreation spot. This monument was erected in 1907 by patriotic citizens of Detroit in memory of this fames poet. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Nov 1911.

- Mounted sepia-toned group portrait photograph of nine uniformed firefighters posed on the lawn outside of a brick building. The five men in the front are seated in wooden chairs, and the other four men stand behind them. The man seated in the center has a pair of bugles and the number 120 on the badge on his hat. The man seated to the left of him as a single bugle and the number 181 on his. The photo is mounted on beige cardstock.

- Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned head-and-shoulders portrait photograph of Detroit Fire Commissioner Jerome Croul. This photograph is one of a series of eight photos of former Detroit Fire Department Commissioners. The decorative engraved logo of the photographer (Randall) has been torn off of the verso of the cabinet card photo. The proof bears the name of "Geo. Francis Train" at the bottom, and a stamp for Randall, 220 & 222 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich." is shown on the verso.

- One carbon copy letter, dated May 22nd, 1925, from Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. to the Corps of Engineers. The typewritten letter acknowledges receipt of a permit from the War Department for fill and riprap placement around Stony Island.

- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a short note that was written by Herbert J. Greville who was the ex President of the Trades and Labor Council. The front of the envelope has a title that is handwritten in black ink, "Sentiment of Labor by Ex President of the Trades of [and] Labor Councle [Council], by Ex Pres. Greville." The return address, "Executive Office, Detroit, Mich., William C. Maybury, Mayor," is printed in black text in the upper left corner of the envelope.

- These pages (numbered 6-16) have been cut from a booklet or brochure that advertises the real estate services of Edwin A Abbott. The pages are printed in black text on white paper and include a black and white picture of Edwin A. Abbott and his son that is dated "Jan. 12, 1900" as well as a drawing of the "Whitewood Island Stock Farm" that was owned by Edwin A. Abbott. The booklet text gives some biographical information about Edwin W. Abbott, real estate forecasts for the area, general information about the purchase and sale of property, and real estate services offered by him. A small brass clip (not shown in the images) was used on the upper right corner of the booklet to hold the pages together.
