- One "Map of Detroit." The map is printed in black, red, green, and blue ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, railroad lines, streetcar lines, parks, and cemeteries within the city limits. In addition, the names of former ribbon farm owners (with private claim numbers) are shown along the shoreline of the Detroit River. An advertisement for "Michigan Mutual Life Insurance Company" is shown in the upper left corner of the sheet. Various numbered blue stars are indicated on the map as "Convention Tents" and these may have been part of a Christian Endeavor International Convention which took place in the city in July, 1899. The map was "Published by Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Avenue, cor. Farmer Street, Detroit, Mich." at an approximate scale of 1 inch = 0.5 miles and was dated 1899.

- Color map titled "The Tourist's Pocket Map of Michigan," published by S. Augustus Mitchell in 1836. The full title block, located on the top left corner, reads "The Tourist's Pocket Map of Michigan Exhibiting its Internal Improvements. Roads Distances &c. by J.H. Young. Philadelphia: Published by S. Augustus Mitchell 1836. Sold by Mitchell & Hinman No. 6 North Fifth Street." The top right portion of the map features a listing of principal steam boat routes, including Detroit to Buffalo, Detroit to Fort Gratiot, Detroit to Chicago, and Niles to St. Joseph, indicating the distance to various points along those routes. The perimeter of the map indicates lines of latitude and longitude. Text along the bottom edge of the map reads "Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1834 by S. Augustus Mitchell, in the Clerks office of the district court of the Eastern district of Pennsylvania" and "Engraved by J.H. Young."

- Map, "La Riviere Du Detroit Depuis le Lac Sainte Claire jusqu'au Lac Erie," published by Jacques Nicholas Bellin in 1764. The map, printed in French, shows the Detroit River, the northern portion of Lake Erie, the southern portion of Lake St. Clair, and surrounding land. An inset at lower right shows the "Plan Du Fort Du Detroit," with roads and some buildings labeled. The shoreline along the Detroit River is colored in blue and green, and the buildings on the plan of Fort Detroit are colored in red.

The map shows roads and railways (marked in red) in the City of Detroit, with Campus Martius located at the bottom center and circles emanating from the point of origin in half mile increments. - One map entitled "Map of the State of Michigan and the Surrounding Country" with a brown and blue hard textile cover. The map shows the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of the state and is printed in black ink on white paper. Pale red, yellow, blue, and green inks are used to color the areas of each county. The map shows cities, towns, Indian reserves, rivers, and lakes as well as state, county, and township boundary lines. The principal meridian and base line for Michigan are also indicated along with township and range numbers for the public land survey of the state. Lines of latitude and longitude are also indicated. An inset map of the "Copper District" of the Keweenaw Peninsula is also shown. Printed text beneath the title indicates that the map was "Compiled from Authentic Sources by John Farmer, Detroit, 1868, 23rd Edition." Separated is the accompanying blue and brown hard-cover entitled "Farmer's Sectional Map of Michigan." Published by Northwestern Map Publishing House and Silas Farmer & Co.

- Description:
- One "Map of U.S. Lake Survey Basin at Fort Wayne." The map consists of black ink on linen and shows the dock and frontage along the Detroit River that were occupied by the U. S. Lake Survey Office at Fort Wayne. A seawall is also shown at the upstream side of the basin. Water depths are indicated in the vicinity of the basin to the nearest tenth of a foot and are referenced "to a plane 5 feet below the capping." The names, "Wm. J. Marshall," and "Drouillard's Boathouse" are shown on the adjacent "Crane Estate" property that is located immediately northeast of the fort property. The title block on the left side of the sheet indicates that the map was "Made under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, and E. E. Haskell, Chief Asst., Engineer," and is dated June, 1903. A note in the lower right corner shows that the map was drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 20 feet.

- Map entitled "Les Lacs du Canada et Nouvelle Angleterre" by Robert de Vaugondy and is dated 1749. The map is printed in French in black text on slightly yellowed woven paper. It shows the major lakes and rivers of the Great Lakes and New England regions of North America as well as the main towns and forts. The Great Lakes are outlined in light green lines and the New England states are delineated in light yellow and pink lines. The map title and scale are shown in a box in the lower left corner. Lines of latitude and longitude are labeled along the perimeter of the map area.

It is printed in black and red ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, ward numbers, and railroads in the city. A grid of red lines and letters is also shown which corresponds to the alphabetical index of street names that is shown on the right side of the sheet. The names of some of the old ribbon farm owners are listed along the top of the map.

- One "Map of the City of Detroit, Showing Fire Limits, Paved Streets & Sewers." The map is printed in black and red ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, ward numbers, and railroad lines. The reference key indicates that blue lines were to indicate paved streets, red lines were to indicate sewer lines, and buff-colored areas were to indicate fire service limits. However, only a few streets near downtown are marked in red and none of the other colors are shown. The names of former ribbon farm owners are shown along the top of the map. The map was "Compiled by Eugene Robinson, City Surveyor," in 1871.
