Printed on verso: Detroit Yacht Club, Belle Isle. - This handsome home of the club was built in 1905 to replace their former home, destroyed by fire. It cost $20,000. The club is one of the largest on the great lakes, features sailing and maintains a fleet of 20 one-design cat-boats in which the members sail weekly in regattas. Printed on verso: the Aquarium and Horticultural Buildings on Belle Isle are among the most popular attraction on the island. In the Aquarium will be found all kinds of fresh wand salt water fish. The Commission brings the water direct from the ocean for the latter. In the Horticultural building are domestic and tropical plants and shrubbery, making it a veritable paradise.
