- Description provided on back of photograph: "GVSC student Chris Hackett of Pontiac encounters a web of intricate detail when assembling a pewter and copper spider web he designed for Studio Class, Art 150. The class which was instituted into the Art program this term runs ten weeks and gives equal coverage to the areas of jewelry making, printmaking, and sculpture as taught by professors specializing in each field. New equipment including a buffing wheel for polishing stone and metal and soldering instruments for pewter and copper were installed for use by the class. As the term progressed, students showed increased innovation matching Chris' ingenuity. Many pieces of copper, metal, and stone jewelry including pins, belt-hooks and chains and a copper flower-garden were among the interesting designs produced by the class." Ca. 1970

The chapel features a chandelier, an eternal flame, two statues, pews, and two large ovens for heat in the winter.

- A French sculptor works on a memorial in a work shop in a German prison camp. This monument will probably be erected in the prison camp's cemetery to commemorate the POW's who died in captivity. Other prisoners in the shop fill their time reading a newspaper or eating a meal at the table on the right.
