- A view from behind the crowd during the dedication ceremony in front of the new Lansing Fire Department Station No. 1. A marching band is in formation near the intersection of Grand and Shiawassee streets. Graybar Electric Company, Auto-Owners Insurance Co. Service Department, and the Lansing Storage Co. Warehouse can be seen in the distance. The view is taken from the east side of Grand Avenue looking to the northwest. Similar photographs appear in the booklet "Lansing Fire Department: Dedicated to the Saving of Life and Property" which was published in approximately 1950.
