- One folio series entitled, "Detroit Illustrated," that was published in 14 parts by H. R. Page & Company of Chicago. This folio, Part Eight, has a gray/green paper cover that is printed in brown text. There are eight interior pages which include printed text and sepia-toned photographic images that are entitled as follows: The Thompson Home Y.M.C.A. Building Michigan Avenue from Dime Savings Bank Residence of Hugh McMillan Church of Our Father Whitney Opera House Block Canfield Avenue from Second Street Residence of C. H. - Two architectural drawings with first entitled "Plans for Eight Stores and Sixteen Apartments Located on the North-West Corner of Michigan and Wesson Aves., Detroit, Michigan" and the second entitled "Wesson Ave. Elevation." The drawings (Job No. 288) consist of red and black ink on linen and show front and rear elevation views of a proposed 3-story retail/apartment building. On the second drawing, the name, "Soldoris," is shown over the apartment entrance doorway on Wesson Avenue. The title block in the lower right corner of the first sheet shows that the drawing (part of a set of nine sheets) was prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. Some green and blue pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details.

Printed on verso: Michigan Avenue, Detroit. Mich. Michigan Avenue, one of Detroit's main business streets leads to the new Railroad Terminal Station, one of the finest in the west. The drawings consist of black ink and pencil on vellum paper and show a front elevation view of the proposed building as well as floor plans for each of the four floors. The proposed building was located at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Wesson Avenue. The plans were drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," and are dated 1920.
