- Description:
- "Larch Street School was located on the west side of Larch Street in the first block. A street now runs through the site. The original building was built in 1888, added to twice, and razed in 1945." Some records state that the school was razed in 1952.

Handwritten inside the cover is the following: "Presented to Public Library of Lansing, Mich. by Wagenvoord and Co. Bookbinders and Fred J. Wagenvoord, Photographer." - "Projector 'pushing' by projectionist club, Pattengill Junior High School, 1958. The secondary audiovisual coordinators sponsored a 'projector' club in each school to assist in the AV programs. The pupils ran 'movies' and set up apparatus."
